浅葉克己

Asaba Katsumi is one of those rare individuals who has led the graphic world with both art direction and typography. With his insatiable curiosity and keen eye for detail, Asaba, who says that art direction is a combination of the two, has been the first to discover interesting things and has produced many advertisements and designs that have made people’s eyes light up. without sleeping. He believes that reading a lot of books, training his body including manual work, and “Asaba’s assimilation” of the information he collects is the foundation of his own design.

정연종 추모전 추진위원회

디자이너 정연종의 작고를 기리며 그의 디자인 사료를 발굴하고 기록하기 위해 동료 및 선후배 디자이너, 연구자들이 자발적으로 구성한 단체이다. 류명식 위원장을 필두로 김현, 명계수, 이영혜, 김성천 위원 등이 참여하고 있으며, 이번 도록 발간과 추모 전시를 통해 정연종이 남긴 한국적 디자인의 가치를 학술적으로 재조명하고 후대에 전달하는 것을 목적으로 한다.

Ota Hiroshi

Born in 1968. Architect.Co-chair of Design Nouveau, Tokyo Picnic Club. IDR is a combination of letters reminiscent of ordinary English words such as idea and ideal. It is intended to be a more free architecture that responds flexibly to various external conditions without being bound by a specific logic or theory. Questioning what is taken for granted in our cities and architecture is the starting point of his work, and he is particularly interested in the role of architecture as a mediating background between users and everyday life.
