Armin Hofmann was a Swiss graphic designer. He was one of the most prominent individuals in Swiss design. He began his career in 1947 as a teacher at the Allgemeine Gewerbeschule Basel School of Art and Crafts at the age of twenty-six. Sofie Beier is an internationally recognized researcher in typeface legibility and professor WSR at the Royal Danish Academy. She has a long career in academic research and is the author of several books and numerous academic articles on typography and legibility.
