Toshi Omagari is a font designer at Monotype in the UK. He studied typography and font design at Musashino Art University in Tokyo, graduating in 2008. Arcade Game Typography is his first book.

He studied strategic management and marketing at the University of Trier in Germany. As the founder and consultant of Destinable, a service design company for the tourism industry, he has participated in various tourism projects across Europe. Since 2008, he has been teaching service design in the master’s program in Entrepreneurship and Tourism at Management Center Innsbruck(MCI) in Austria.

After graduating from Konkuk University with a degree in philosophy, he worked in international relations and corporate public relations at a public company, but was fascinated by the work of a translator to introduce good books and became a translator after graduating from the Glbab Academy of Barun Translation.
